3M™ 9448A Double Sided Tape
9448A is a double-coated pressure-sensitive adhesive tape.
The high adhesion acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive exhibits strong bonding on various substrates, including low surface energy plastics that most acrylic adhesives struggle to adhere to effectively.
This adhesive maintains consistent initial tack despite temperature fluctuations and offers reliable tackiness even in cold environments. The soft acrylic adhesive can effectively penetrate rough surfaces, ensuring a secure bond.
The choice of a paper liner is deliberate to ensure suitability for converting processes like die-cutting and laser cutting.
Available as a 50M roll in 150mm, 300mm, 600mm and 1200mm widths.
Application Technique:
• Apply between 10˚C and 40˚C.
• Ensure surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry and well unified.
• Firm application pressure helps develop better adhesive contact and improves bond strength.

• Web splicing for paper and corrugated board

Testing
Always test the suitability of the product for your application before use.
Shelf life
Store in a dry location out of direct sunlight and away from all sources of heat. Ideal conditions are 20°C and 50% relative humidity. Use within 2 years from date of
manufacture.
